“Nearly four years ago I came home to care for my ailing mother, Helen Frayer. Hospice of Morrow County was on board to assist me. In a professional, light-hearted and loving way they taught me what I needed to give my mother the care she so deserved. She very much felt their respect and love. On June 22, 2011, mother’s passing was peaceful, thanks to their skills. It was not easy losing mother, but their love for her and myself made it a beautiful thing rather than one I had been dreading. It just seemed natural. It is my hope that you never lose this wonderful group. Try to support them in any way you can afford so should you or one of your loved ones need special care. Hospice of Morrow County will be there for you.”

Ed Kline, Board Member, has had personal experience with Hospice during the last three weeks of his mother's life as primary care giver and knows he could never have done it on his own. Hospice allowed for his wife, daughter, brother, sister and himself to be holding their mother's hand as she passed on at home in her own bed.
"While this may sound morbid to some who don't understand the function of the organization", says Ed, "it was the greatest gift God could ever have given me, to be allowed to be with a loved one when they pass is truly an uplifting experience that helps provide closier that some people never experience." Mr. Kline states "Hospice allows a patient to die at home or nursing home with dignity in the presence of their loved ones."
